Chapter 133 2nd Annual Quartermania & Holiday Boutique FUNdraiser

The American Legion Riders Chapter 133 is hosting the 2nd Annual Quartermania & Holiday Boutique FUNundraiser with proceeds going to Honoring Our Fallen. It will include a Luncheon and shopping boutique! Ticket price for event is $20 pre-sale, $25 at the door. Ticket includes auction paddle, door prize ticket, and lunch.
Over 20 vendors to shop from. Shopping is free, no ticket purchase is needed. Come by and shop, stay to play for the fun!

Quartermania is a cross between an auction and a raffle where people 'bid' to win a product/prize from local businesses and various home business vendors participating in the event. Bids on these new items are from 1 to 4 quarters.

How it works: A vendor holds up an item for auction. If you are interested in the item, you bid on it using your quarter(s) and raise your paddle. If your paddle number is drawn, you win that item.
Yes, it’s that easy! Just bring a roll of quarters!

You can purchase additional paddles for $5.00 to increase your chances of winning! There will be over 20 additional items for opportunity drawings!

Come out for an afternoon of fun AND support Honoring Our Fallen!!!

:::RIDE HISTORY:::
On May 23, 2003, Sergeant Rene Hernandez, who was assigned to Century Station, passed away in an off duty traffic accident while driving home from Palm Springs. The men and women of Century Station organized the Century Station Memorial Ride in honor of Rene Hernandez, to assist his family in their time of need. Over the next couple of years, Century Station suffered more losses and the memorial ride benefited their families as well.

The Memorial Fund Committee consists of three deputies, one sergeant, and one civilian employee. The fund is controlled strictly by the men and women of Century Station and not used to support any financial issues of the Sheriff's Dept. It is monitored and supported by Century Station Unit Commander, Captain Kerry Carter along with former unit Commaders, Ernie Chavez, James J. Hellmold and Hoseph M Gooden. The fund has been able to help many deputies from the LA County Sheriff's Department, as well as officers and their families from different cities and counties. The Memorial Ride helps to sustain this fund and contributions made depend on the fund availability.
Visit CenturyMemorialRide.org for more information.
